Happy Holidays from Stamped By EG

Winter has sure hit central Iowa in the past 24 hours! I hope all of you are staying warm and cozy, snuggled up to your loved ones! I know that is my plan for the next few days before Christmas!

To recap this year, I began this business in late August and have received great support from all of you. Some of my biggest accomplishments from this past year include sending packages to 2 states: Florida and Minnesota, attending a craft show at Decorah High School, creating so many different variations of hand-stamped jewelry, and creating my own website. As for 2023, I have so many goals to accomplish, and I can't wait to share those with you once the new year hits!

I just finished my 3rd semester at Luther College. I have 5 semesters left, with one of those being student teaching! This past semester was challenging, but I managed to make the dean's list again! In addition, I am extremely excited because next semester I will be in all education classes rather than general education classes!

Until I go back to college on January 31, I am living in central Iowa while being a substitute teacher associate at a local school district! Since I am in school for elementary education, I am learning so many important classroom management techniques, and how to handle all different situations. Just the other day a 1st-grade girl came up to me and said "you know how boys have different parts than girls?" and I said "Uh, yes?" I was extremely intrigued and wondered what she was going to say next. She proceeded to inform me that another little boy had said "Jingle Balls." I couldn't help but smile. Of course, I had to have a conversation with the little boy about why it isn't appropriate to say, but I couldn't help but laugh a little.
